Description
THE KEY LARGO is a casual woven tee in two views. View A features a trendy tie front hem and view B has a regular straight hem. Both views have a relaxed fit with subtle shaping at the side seams and short sleeves. The front pieces are cut on the bias which provides fun options for pattern play. The neckbinding can be applied as a hidden facing on the inside of the garment or an exposed binding for added detail. The pattern also contains notes for cutting the front on the straight grain or eliminating the front seam. Lightweight woven fabrics such as shirting, voile, lawn, double gauze, rayon, viscose, or silk blends work best for this pattern. With all of these options, the Key Largo will be a workhorse in your pattern library!

Love the Key Largo top! It is as easy to wear as a t shirt but looks so much nicer! I love the different finishing options and clear instructions and ability to print in layers. Pics of the four I’ve sewn here: https://replicatethendeviate.blogspot.com/2017/06/hey-june-handmades-key-largo-top.html?showComment=1502307019511&m=1#c478046229666148917

I’m wearing my first Key Largo top. It’s one of the suggested versions – cut with the front on the fold and no ties, ie a woven tshirt. I love it. It’s going to be my go-to pattern for pullover tops now – no darts, loose but not baggy fit, nice scoop neck which isn’t too low so you don’t have to worry about bras/unexpected flashing:)….. The pattern is extremely well drafted, and the instructions are brilliant. Hint: If you pay by the sheet for copy shop prints, like me (A0), don’t bother printing out the second page – it isn’t even half a page, it would be cheaper to do that in A4:). Also, I just put together the Phoenix blouse because I was too broke to have it printed, and it was so much easier to put together than most PDFs! Now I regret having printed this and a couple of others at a shop:)…
