How much fabric will I need for the simple raglan? I’m a total newb sewer and want to make sure I want to pay for the fabric in case I totally screw this up before purchasing the pattern haha.

I just learned from one of my sewing groups that you have added an FBA for this pattern. I’ve wanted to purchase it, but I always need an FBA….I’m just over joyed!!! Can you tell me how much is added with the FBA? There are 5 inches between my high bust and full bust. Thanks again, anxiously waiting to see if this will work for me and then purchase…..so excited!!

In reply to Nancy. It just depends what size you're making. The smallest size is solid, the rest are dashed. I believe the size key is on the back piece? I usually try to put it on a piece that is needed for every view :)

Hello – just making my first Lane tee and I have a question: the neckband piece, #6, has a solid line (opposite the fold) and a series of sized markings beyond that. Which are intended to be the cutting line?

In reply to RxQuilter. Yes they should match up. I would pin them at the beginning and end of the seam and then make them fit in between the two. Sometimes sewing machine feed dogs or serger differential feeds can make the bottom fabric feed faster than the top fabric and they'll end up mismatched at the end of the seam. Also make sure you're not accidentally sewing the back of the sleeve to the front, those would be drastically different lengths though.

Help…I am new to sewing again after a long hiatus. Is the front shoulder and front sleeve pieces supposed to match up perfectly? I seem to have more fabric on the sleeve piece…I’m scare to stretch the front piece too much 🙂
