Hi, I definitely recommend the lower size range and then doing a small FBA if desired.  The pattern is already oversized, so the larger size range would be too big.  You may not find a FBA necessary because of the ease, but with stripes or plaid it can help to keep the pattern on grain with a larger bust, if you intend to button it closed.  You can absolutely lengthen or shorten to any desired length!]]></description>
