Oh that’s so wonderful to hear! Happy birthday to you 🙂 I love when people just dive right in – you’d never guess how often I hear that people are “scared” of knits. What’s the worst that could happen? You did the right thing. And the faced neckline is a great option for beginners, but I’d say you’re well beyond that if you’ve made 7 Unions!

I gave it a bash, and boy am I pleasantly surprised. I’ve since made about 7 using different types of knit – I was terrified to sew with knits but your blog inspired me to throw caution to the wind and I’ve learnt so much. Now the Aurora looks fantastic on you, the faced neckband has me rather curious. May just be my next addition.
