I've just completed my first pair of these trousers in a heavy ponte knit, and I already have more versions planned. I'm a confident beginner - intermediate in my sewing, and had no issues constructing these pants. I I've never sewn welt pockets before, and the instructions were clear, and it was surprisingly easy, although a bit fiddly, as expected. I also like the construction method of the fly front, and plan to use this on other patterns. I am 5'7, and my measurements put me exactly within size 8, and they fit as is. However, for future pairs I may blend down a size in the waist, as I expect ponte knits will stretch a bit when worn. I also plan to shorten the rise a bit for the same reason.
The versatile pattern with the three leg variations, and the clear instructions for this easily make it a great value.
